KITCHEN GGN
The design focuses on creating a single volume that encompasses the kitchen, dining room and terrace storage area, allowing the three spaces to relate fluidly and without interruptions. This approach unifies the different uses of the area, promoting a feeling of spaciousness and visual continuity.

Project: GGN HOUSE, Morelos, México
Client: GGN
MATERIALS: Ash Wood, galvanized metal structure finished with powder paint, covered in carbon neutral ultracompact porcelain surface (Dekton), Wooden cover with Matt-finish high quality laminate.
The volumetry of the kitchen is developed from wooden panels that are arranged in a superimposed and overlapping manner in various directions. This pattern not only has an aesthetic function, but also responds to the functional needs of the kitchen, creating different work and storage areas.
The set of panels creates the low guard area, which is used for storage and support of the working decks. Above the stacked wooden panels are the high guard volumes, created from basic prisms that use a neutral color. These volumes house additional storage, such as shelves or cabinets, maintaining a simple and elegant aesthetic.
One of the standout features of the GGN kitchen design is the absence of visible hardware. This is achieved through a careful arrangement of the wooden panels and guard volumes, so that the doors and compartments integrate naturally into the design without the need for external elements that interrupt the clean and orderly aesthetic.
