GGN STAIRCASE
The design of the staircase arises from the creation of an element that receives from the entrance to the house and serves as a vestibular axis dividing the private area from the social area on the ground floor. It is divided into 3 elements: access lambrin, staircase and vestibular lambrin. The access lambrin starts as a more solid element that gives greater transparency and visual play as it progresses.

The steps of the staircase are born from the same carving, becoming cantilevered elements that give greater lightness to the total volume. At the end of the staircase, the lambrín becomes a more transparent element, acting as a kind of visual screen that connects and organizes the lobby with the rest of the social space. This transition from solidity to lightness reinforces the feeling that access is controlled and organized, while establishing a play of light and shadow that creates a dynamic environment.
