It all started with an iconic piece used in a Mexican game. The Matatena is a typical game, that for us can be seen as a sculpture when created at larger scale.

We used this design, where different elements of a modular piece can be used in different ways. From the center of the piece, it creates a main structure to bring about different functionalities. When placed in a play area, children are drawn to a space where there are no limits, and from here we create pathways where they can explore and discovered only by them. Spaces to climb, and swing from.
